The Diabetes Association of Atlanta (DAA) offers evidence-based self-management education and support classes that are nationally recognized by the American Diabetes Association. The classes empower people who have diabetes with the knowledge and skills they need to control their diabetes on a daily basis. The classes cover aspects of the AADE 7 Self-Care Behaviors: healthy eating, being active, monitoring, taking medication, problem-solving, healthy coping, and reducing risks.

Classes are lead by some of the best Certified Diabetes Educators in Atlanta. We offer an amazing virtual support group and great incentives. With each DSMES class, participants are encouraged to set and meet goals in a given timeline. Your health journey starts here!
