Kaiser and Aetna have partnered with DAA to provide diabetes prevention and management education to help eliminate health disparities amongst the underserved and minorities

DAA is pleased to announce major gifts from Kaiser Permanente and the Aetna Foundation!  Kaiser’s gift of $35,000 will provide support of DAA’s work in preventing diabetes complications through education and medical assistance in the metropolitan Atlanta community.

Additionally, Aetna has provided a gift of $20,000 towards the “Healthy Campus Initiative” at Clark Atlanta University.  DAA began this initiative to provide healthy lifestyle tools to impact the entire campus community including students, faculty, staff and alumni.  Many exciting learning events will be held on the CAU campus this year.
